Pouring
Arch Impressions:
A small spatula works nicely to remove excess stone in the palatal area. Remove all stone down to the die surface level. With practice you can go beyond the die surface level; however, be sure to keep the spatula turned in such a way that stone which is to be part of the model remains in compression.
Hold
the stone models and not the plastic bases when separating the
models from the impression, this will reduce chances of separating the stone
model from the plastic base.
