Remove the Impression by holding onto each model and pulling them apart.

Hold the stone models and not the plastic bases when separating the models from the impression, this will reduce chances of separating the stone model from the plastic base.
 

You will want to check the bite at this point,
as it may be necessary to remove the lower
model from the base and reposition it.

Do not remove the hinge-stop-rods if the
Opposing Model is to be removed from the
lower base and repositioned.

If the bite is correct, trim models, section dies
and prepare case for waxing. Hinge-
stop-rods can now be removed with a small
fissure bur if not needed.
   
Of all the burs we have tried, we find
the Axis-UC251GE-060, or similar, works
best for trimming the models.
