1.  Close the Pin-Locator until the hinge-stop-rods make contact. Test the position of
     the impression between the Pin-Locator and the Opposing_Base for any interferences
     that may need addressed.

2.  The bottom of the impression may require some trimming in order to maintain a
     distance of 2 to 3mm between the tips of the Pin-Locator pointers and the margins
     of each tooth. This will result in a die thickness of between 8 and 9mm respectively.
