Attaching the "Quadrant" Opposing_Base to the Opposing Index-Plate:

Quadrant Opposing_Bases mount onto Index-Plates in much the same way as the Arches.

Only one of the left or right prongs is used to secure the posterior flange.

The male pin and female sleeve engages in the same way as the Arches.

The posterior flange of the Quadrant Opposing_Base is inserted between the center prong and one of the left or right prongs.

The left and right prongs are shorter than the center prong.

The anterior of the Quadrant Opposing_Base is lowered so that the male pin and female sleeve are engaged. A center line near the front of the Index-Plate will help align the Quadrant Opposing_Base.
