Open_Base:
Models are ground to correct thickness. Conventional die pins are glued in place and reversible
pins (blue) are put firmly into holes. Desired index grooves are cut and
separator is applied to bottom of die surface.
The
above pictures show only one of many available glue-pin techniques;
however, almost all of them will work with the Open_Base.
Shown here is a Mounting-Plate being attached to the bottom of a large
(orange) Open_Base
so it can be filled with stone.
