Quadrant
Mounting-Plates:
As mentioned before, all Mounting-Plates are designed to
receive Upper
or Lower Bases and are colored coded as to size. One quadrant
Mounting-Plate will receive an Upper Right or a Lower Left Base; while
the other will receive an Upper Left of a Lower Right. The two round
protrusions opposite the snap side are undercut to insure they stay
attached to the plaster when mounted on a fixed articulator.
Above pictures show a Medium Quadrant Mounting-Plate used
on the Upper Medium Quadant RTP_Base. A Medium Opposing-Base is used on
the lower and plastered to the articulator. A Mounting-Plate could also
have been used on the Opposing_Base.
